ZeroUI conceptual model

A reference model for continuous software change governance.

The model connects what an organization already knows with what production reveals—while canonical policy and approval remain under human control.

The model

Known intent and operational reality converge through governance.

This is a ZeroUI conceptual model. It describes product direction and governance boundaries; it is not presented as a certified framework or independently validated standard.

Seven stages

What each stage contributes.

Known intent

Business requirements, compliance obligations, security controls, engineering standards, architecture principles, and release policies.

Canonical policy

Policy Studio is designed to govern how approved intent becomes executable decision logic, explanation, evidence, and remediation.

Software change

Relevant policy follows human- and AI-generated change across the lifecycle.

Production observation

Operational outcomes reveal whether assumptions and controls remain sound.

Proposed intent

A reliable, causal, and generalizable lesson may become a candidate—not automatic policy.

Human approval

An accountable owner reviews evidence and impact, simulates expected consequences, and decides whether to publish.

Improved policy

Approved intent returns through canonical Policy Studio to guide future change.

Top-down knowledge

What the organization already knows.

Explicit requirements, standards, principles, and controls begin with accountable business and technology owners.

Bottom-up knowledge

What production reveals.

Failure modes, hidden dependencies, unsafe assumptions, recurring patterns, and institutional knowledge may emerge only through operation.

Production can teach ZeroUI, but production cannot silently rewrite organizational policy.
